Description
Sloths, with their ever-smiling faces, remind us to slow down and enjoy life at a gentler pace. Recently declared a national symbol, they are among Costa Rica’s most beloved animals. The forests surrounding Arenal Volcano are home to both two-toed and three-toed sloths, offering excellent opportunities to observe them in their natural habitat.
This relaxed excursion includes a scenic drive led by a sharp-eyed bilingual guide who will help you spot these charming creatures and share interesting insights into their behavior. As a bonus, you may also encounter monkeys, toucans, iguanas, and poison dart frogs along the way.
