These Terms & Conditions govern the reservation and participation in experiences and activities offered or facilitated by Amor Arenal, including but not limited to external tours, spa services, cultural journeys, wellness experiences, and curated activities.

By booking an experience through our booking engine, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

Amor Arenal offers curated experiences, some of which are operated by third-party providers. Availability is subject to confirmation at the time of booking.

2. ELIGIBILITY

• Guests must be 18 years of age or older to book an experience.

• Certain experiences may have additional age, health, or physical requirements, which will be disclosed prior to booking.

• By completing a booking, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

3. NATURE OF THE EXPERIENCES

• Some experiences are operated directly by Amor Arenal, while others are provided by independent third-party operators.

• Amor Arenal acts as a facilitator and curator for third-party experiences and is not responsible for the direct operation unless explicitly stated.

• Experience descriptions, duration, inclusions, and requirements are provided for informational purposes and may vary due to operational or environmental conditions.

4. RESERVATIONS

• All experience reservations are subject to availability.

• A reservation is confirmed once payment is successfully processed or authorized.

• Confirmation details will be sent via email after booking.

• Amor Arenal reserves the right to cancel or refuse any booking due to operational issues, safety concerns, or suspected fraudulent activity.

5. PRICES, CURRENCY, AND TAXES

• Prices are displayed in USD, unless otherwise stated.

• Prices may include or exclude taxes and service charges, as clearly indicated during the booking process.

• Applicable Costa Rican taxes will be applied in accordance with local regulations.

6. PAYMENTS

• Accepted payment methods are displayed during checkout.

• Full payment is generally required at the time of booking.

• Amor Arenal does not store full credit card details. Payments are processed through secure, certified payment gateways.

7. CANCELLATION, MODIFICATION, AND REFUNDS

• Cancellation and modification policies vary depending on the experience and provider.

• The applicable policy will be clearly displayed before booking confirmation.

• Failure to cancel within the permitted timeframe may result in partial or full charges, including non-refundable bookings.

• No refunds will be issued for unused portions of an experience or late arrivals.

8. NO-SHOW POLICY

• Failure to arrive at the scheduled time and location will be considered a no-show.

• No-shows are non-refundable, regardless of reason, unless explicitly stated otherwise.

9. SCHEDULE CHANGES AND FORCE MAJEURE

• Experiences may be modified, rescheduled, or canceled due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational limitations, or force majeure events (including but not limited to natural disasters or government restrictions).

• In such cases, Amor Arenal will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or offer alternatives, subject to availability.

10. HEALTH, SAFETY, AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

• Guests are responsible for ensuring they meet the physical and health requirements of the experience.

• Participation in experiences is voluntary and at the guest’s own risk.

• Amor Arenal is not responsible for injuries, illnesses, or accidents arising from participation, except where required by law.

• Guests must follow all instructions provided by guides, operators, and staff.

11. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

• Amor Arenal is not liable for acts, omissions, negligence, or performance of third-party experience providers.

• Guests agree that any claims related to third-party services must be directed to the respective provider.

• Amor Arenal is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings during experiences.

12. GUEST CONDUCT

• Guests must behave respectfully toward staff, guides, other participants, and local communities.

• Amor Arenal reserves the right to refuse participation or remove any guest whose behavior is unsafe or disruptive, without refund.

13. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION

Personal data collected during the booking process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content related to the experiences booking engine, including descriptions, images, branding, and text, is the property of Amor Arenal or its partners and may not be used without prior written consent.

15. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Costa Rica. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Costa Rican courts.

16. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Amor Arenal reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon publication on the website or booking engine.
